Flash or no Flash?
Have you seen a flashy website with smooth, powerful animations and thought, 'I wouldn't mind having a site like that.'?
Well, although it may look good to you, it might not be the best thing for your site.
Although Flash looks good, developments in the Internet Explorer 7 browser mean that now, any media plugins such as Flash may not display on a site originally, but will be replaced by a box surrounded by a dotted line asking the user to enable it before it will play.
What this means is that internet users will not even see the nice content you want them to, unless they click to allow it... so in effect, as most users will not bother to do this (would you for every page you view?) pages will look disjointed and incomplete.
You need to think very seriously about the implications of having Flash on your website and whether or not it provides useful content to your visitors.
